Magnolia Equine Assisted Therapies began as the therapeutic riding program within the for profit business of Meridian Equine Education Center.  The goal was always for the program to become its own non profit organization, to be able to fundraise, keep costs to participants as low as possible, and become a PATH International center.  In the fall of 2019, this transformation took place, and we got a new name.  We operate out of Lucky Fox Farm, and absolutely love it here!

Where does the name come from?  Magnolia trees have been around for ages.  They have survived the Ice Age, continental drift, dinosaurs, and even humans.  They are very strong and amazingly adaptable to their surroundings.  And when they bloom, they are incredibly beautiful.  Just like our riders, who have to be strong, survivors, adaptable, and, when they make progress, it is amazing and beautiful.
